#VerifyLocal service design templates for councils about to start service transformation
These templates were developed for the Verify Local pilot kick-off events, to understand the existing service and plan discovery phase activities.
User journey map (PDF) - we used this to map out the as-is service from the user's perspective, identifying user needs and areas for user research
Service design planning (spreadsheet tab 1) - outlines the service design activities we anticipate local authorities conducting in the discovery phase and identifies support needs, any resourcing issues and opportunities for collaboration with other councils
Tech activities planning (spreadsheet tab 2) - this spreadsheet gives an idea of the technical tasks involved in connecting to Verify, including fraud and security asks, and can be used to plan resourcing and collaboration
Performance monitoring (spreadsheet tab 3) - tool for establishing what the services should measure to ensure they are meeting user needs
