A series of free regional events will take place during August and September aimed at public sector buyers and suppliers to help both get the best out of Cabinet Office’s Digital Marketplace.
The roadshow will be jointly hosted with Crown Commercial Service and TechUK in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, London Manchester and Newcastle.
The two-hour sessions will provide attendees with the latest information on how best to use the Digital Marketplace and share insights into forthcoming changes to G-Cloud and the Digital Services Framework, as well as a chance to ask questions. Sessions will include presentations on agile project management, choosing the right technology, and a case study example.
There are 1,852 suppliers on the Digital Marketplace, with total sales reaching £37 million a month. At the end of June 2015, 80% of total sales by value were through central government and 20% through the wider public sector.
