A two-day event on improving customer service and support next month is offering 50 free places to readers of the Local Digital news blog.
Aimed at practitioners of customer service in the public and private sectors, and at a range of roles including management and frontline workers, The Art of Customer Satisfaction 2015 takes place in London on 15-16 June at King’s Place, London, N1 9AG.
The conference, hosted by cloud-based customer service software provider Zendesk, will offer training sessions, presentations, panel discussions, networking and an opportunity to hear the insights of customer service professionals from all over the world.
Topics include transforming the perception of brands, improving agent productivity, providing customers with tailored self-service and the use of social media and data analytics. One presentation is entitled ‘Customer Service – a look at new brands disrupting established markets and how the old guard needs to respond’.
A set of learning and development sessions will take place in three ‘tracks’ centred around the themes of ‘people’ (balancing the needs of your customers with those of your team); ‘process’ (and how the products and services available can help) and ‘developer’ (API integrations, app building, embeddable and practical tips for developers).
