Really Useful Day: Improving user journeys | Newbury

1 Oct 2013 @ 10:30 am - 4:00 pm

Event Navigation

Do you work for a local authority? Are you interested in improving customer journeys and making your website easier for your customers to use? Then you need to come to a free training day jointly organised by Local Directgov and LocalGov Digital at West Berkshire council.

Called a ‘Really Useful Day’, it’s a mixture of hands-on workshops and inspiring talks, with lunch and refreshments provided:

  • Work on developing better customer journeys on your council website
  • Learn how other local councils have made improvements to their sites
  • Network and share knowledge and ideas with peers

We’ll be mapping popular customer journeys and getting you to improve a specific journey on your site. You’ll also have the chance to hear from speakers from other councils in your area who have made improvements to their websites.

We’re encouraging participants from digital teams, customer services, policy teams and anyone else in your council whose input is essential when making website improvements.

Some comments from past Really Useful Days:
“Excellent event and very aptly named.”
“Informative and thought-provoking.”
“Like the practical, workshop-style format.”
“Excellent opportunity for knowledge sharing.”
