Really Useful Day Toolkit: half-day workshop to improve a specific service
These step-by-step guides help local authorities run Really Useful half-day workshops to help improve specific digital services on their websites. They're designed to engage service and policy teams with the design of digital services.
The toolkits come in 4 parts, which you can download below by following steps 1 and 2.
NB: We also have a toolkit that lets you improve multiple different user journeys during a full-day workshop.
Download all 3 of the documents below:
Choose the service you want to improve below and download it. Each hand-out contains 3 examples of the user journey: 1 good, 1 bad and 1 average example.
Hand-outs are designed to be printed on A3 paper, in colour and single-sided.
(Some of the journeys won’t be up-to-date, as websites change frequently. It doesn’t matter, as the journeys are only here to provide good, bad and average examples to get people thinking. But we’re happy to update them if you let us know.)
