The Bury St Edmunds Really Useful Day took place on 10 October 2014. As with all Really Useful Days, the event was practical and hands-on, with the emphasis on enabling local authorities to network, share knowledge and develop new skills.
Attendees had the chance to hear from local authorities doing interesting things with social media. They also worked on scenarios to develop thinking: one on emergency flooding, and one on a residents’ parking scheme consultation, including dealing with abuse and ‘trolls’.
